This is my first tutorial for Sims 4.
I'll try to teach you how to create the same effect on hair as we had in the Sims3 in Sims 4.
Ø First open the CASclonerDemo
Ø Double-click the application to open.
Ø Then click "Next"
Ø In this rectangle type "Hair" (because in this
case we modify a hair)
Ø Choose the hair you want to change, then Click "Next"
Ø Now click "Export To DDS" and save the file with a name of your choice
Ø Open the file you have saved in Photoshop
Ø To change this green, you have to go to
channels, and switch the green
channel, what is gray to black
Ø Copy only the hair textures to another layer
Ø I think this hair too yellow, I'll
change it then, you
can switch to the tone that you like just
change the hue and saturation
Ø However the hair ends will keep that yellow,
for it must delete
only the bottom of
the textures on the top layer
Ø If you want to only darken the root,
do as the picture below
Ø Now flatten the image (layered -
flatten image), we
can only keep one layer
Ø Save your texture. Press Save as and choose .dds format.
Ø Now we return to the Sims 4 CAS Cloner Demo, click on
"import From DDS"
and will get the
file you just created and click “Next” and
then click "Finish"
and save the package file in Documents/ Electronic /The Sims 4/ Mods
Ø To work in the game you should open the package file you just created in the "Mesh Tools TS4 (CmarNYC)", go to "Conver Demo / Game", click on "select" and seeks your package file, then you must click on all the "convert" button.
Now "Save Package As" and save with a different name.
Ø It's time to open the Sims 4 Game and see the result
To add reflections, are all the same to the open part of the photoshop (for this example I get another hair black to show other possibilities)
ØTry to create a selection like the image below and then save the selection with a name of your choice
ØNow create a new layer
ØWith the "paint bucket" paint this layer red (or another color of your choice) then in layer blending option chooses overlap, if the intention was to recolor the hair our work was already completed, it was just flatten the image and save as .dds format as I have explained above.
ØTime to load the previously saved selection, do it like the image below (In my case I named "Lnhas", in your case look for the name you have given to your selection)
ØNow go to Edit > Delete and will stay as you can see in the picture
ØWhen we saved the selection we create a new channel, so now let's erase the channel in channels
ØNow flatten the image and save it in .dds format
ØBack to Sims 4 CAS Cloner Demo, click on "import From DDS" and will get the file you just created and click on "Next" and then click "Finish" and save the package file in Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 4> Mods
ØIt's time to open the Sims 4 Demo and see the result
ØBack to Sims 4 CAS Cloner Demo, click on "import From DDS" and will get the file you just created and click on "Next" and then click "Finish" and save the package file in Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 4> Mods
ØIt's time to open the Sims 4 Demo and see the result
Ø Oops! I think it's too red...
ØLet's go back to Photoshop and reduce the opacity of our layer
ØNow repeat the whole process explained above
I hope you find this tutorial useful, if you have questions put in the comments, I try to answer as best as possible and as fast as possible
I would like one with T-Shirts and/or changing the Pictures in the Picture Frames.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment, I make that tutorial as soon as possible. :)
